Meet Our Area’s Amazing Entrepreneurs

Join us for a free, inspirational evening about entrepreneurship. Doors open for networking at 5:30, with light complementary food and drinks available, followed by our amazing speakers, from 6:30-7:30, a trio of local area entrepreneurs representing the beginning, middle, and success stages of their journeys.
Welcome Dr. Yulun Wang who has started multiple successful companies and institutions. Meet Dr. Jesse Crossno, several years into his first successful venture, and cheer Rita Mounir, putting the rubber to the road at the grit stage of a startup.

Dr. Yulun Wang is a pioneer in telehealth, surgical robotics, and medical innovations. On October 26th, he will share with us the entrepreneurs’ journey in health care.
Dr. Wang earned Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from UCSB before founding Computer Motion, a surgical robotics company, and InTouch Health, an integrated healthcare platform, acquired in July 2020, by Teladoc Health.

Dr. Jesse Crossno received a PhD in Applied Physics before returning to wonderful Santa Barbara and embarking on CrossnoKaye with fellow founder Bryan Kaye. CrossnoKaye is bringing the modern software revolution to the Heavy Industrial sector in order to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. Their A.I. industrial controls platform (ATLAS), transforms our customers' facilities from the largest energy consumers on the planet to green smart facilities. Their software cuts the greenhouse gas emissions of heavy industrial plants by as much as 50% while simultaneously saving our customers millions in energy spend.
